What is a financial option?

A financial option is a financial instrument in which a person has the right, but not the obligation to buy or sell goods or securities at a certain price, called on a specific , called maturity and exercise price.

The buyer has the possibility of having large gains, but likewise increases the level of risk or loss that could generate in the position. While clerk to change take that risk,you will receive a premium or as it is known a Commission.

There are two types of options: Call options and Put options.

• Financing options Call: these options give a person the right to more not the obligation to buy a financial asset at a certain price and the agreed date. In the markets you can buy and sell options Call.

In the Call option, the inverter waits to the underlying store to the upside. If the expiration date and the price is above the price set initially, interest to the investor to exercise the option. Otherwise, if the price increase not expected and the current price is higher than the financial asset, not be held the option and bonus will be lost.

Options markets are highly manipulated, reason why we do not recommend to operate this type of market unless you have lots of experience operating the markets.

Options are not a good market to learn, it is best to find liquid markets with fluid, consistent and highly regulated movements, because what you want less one as an investor is to see as its capital is blurring.
